God is Love..He Loves You and He wants you to Love Him.....BUT all people do not love God!  WHY?  Because of SIN....

What is SIN?

Disobeying God

Breaking God's Law

Results when a person makes a decision to do those things which are wrong.....

"Anyone who knows the good he ought to do and doesn't do it, sins."  (James 4:17)

Who has SINNED?

Everyone!!!!!

"For all have sinned........"  (Romans 3:23)

What does SIN do?

GOD/SIN/YOU

SIN.......Separates you from God

SIN........Makes people unhappy

What is GOD's answer for SIN?

~Jesus~

...........God's Only Son!

............Lived a perfect life

............Died on a cross

............Came alive again in a wonderful way

............Listens to your prayers

............Lives in Heaven today

............Is preparing a place for you in Heaven

............Is the only way to GOD

HOW TO BE SAVED........

1.  Admit that you are a sinner "For all have sinned.."(Romans 3:23).  Every person has sinned....Sin separates you from GOD.  "The wages of sin is death..."(Romans 6:23)

2.  Repent of your sin...."Repent, then, turn to GOD, so your sins may be wiped out....."(Acts3:19).  Repentance is feeling sorry for having sinned and having a great desire to turn in the opposite direction.

3.  Believe in JESUS.Realize that God loves you and Jesus died for your sin."God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believed in Him shall not perish but have eternal life."(John 3:16)  "God shows His own love for us in this.while were sinners, Christ died for us."(Romans 5:8)  To believe in Jesus means to trust Jesus.  This means you believe Jesus is the Son of God and you are trusting Him to save you from your sins and take control of your life.....

4.  Receive Jesus by asking Him to come into your life to be your Savior and Lord..."if you confess with your mouth, Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart God raised Him (Jesus) from the dead, you will be saved."(Romans 10:9)  What does it meant to confess your faith?  Just as repentance is turning away from something, faith means truningh toward something.When you repent, you turn away from sin. When you show faith, you turn toward God and His forgiveness........Have you ever done this?  If not, would you pray this prayer now?

"Dear God, I know I'm a Sinner.......Please forgive me...I believe that Jesus died for my sins....I want Jesus to come into my life and be my Savior...I want to follow Him and obey Him....I want Him to be the Lord of my Life....Amen"

What happens now that you are saved?

*Jesus came into your life.

*Your sins are forgiven.

*You are a Christian.

*You are a child of God.

*You have an eternal home in Heaven.

When you give your life to Christ, you will want to make a "profession of faith".....

This means that you want to tell others what has happened in your life.

"Whoever acknowledges me before men, I will also acknowledge him before my Father in Heaven."(Matthew 10:32)

What next???????

~Baptism~

Baptism tells others what has happened to you!!!!!!!..A picture of death, burial, and resurrection of Jesus.......An act of obedience.........

".......go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you.."(Matthew 28:19-20)

*Read your Bible everyday to get to know Christ Better.....John is a Great Start.

*Pray....talk to God everyday.

*Worship, fellowship, and serve with other Christians in a Church where Christ is preached.

*Tell others about Jesus

This is just the beginning of a wonderful new life in Christ.......To deepen this relationship you should:

*As Christ's representative in a needy world, demonstrate your new life by your love and concern for others.

Congradulations to those who accepted Jesus Christ as your personal Savior......Praise God......One day I'll see you in Heaven.........together walking on the streets of gold.........if you haven't decided yet about this Wonderful new life in Christ.......then I pray that you'll come back to visit......to review....and then to repent I pray.......God Bless........BEV
